Brandon Jennings

well, I guess Oak Hill doesn't focus on academics, as coach Smith would want everyone to believe. What a joke. This kid is going to circumvent the system because he can't score the minimum on a standardized trest. So, it's not about being well rounded, it's about getting paid. I sure hope he doesn't get hurt because I imagine hisz job skills aren't that great, outside of basketball. That, plus the fact that his attitude stinks and I don't think he could handle having to be a 'regular' 6 footer the rest of his life. I don't think he's that good, anyway.

Seton Hall - NCAAs?

Seton Hall has strung together four straight wins to get to 14-6 overall and 4-3 in the Big East. The schedule is difficult, of course, but there are winnable games ahead, enough to make 20 wins a possibility. Will that be enough to get coach Bobby Gonzalez's team into the NCAA Tournament field? Twenty-win teams are left out all the time.

URGENT: for all users

I wanted to give everyone a heads-up on something coming next week. Beginning next Tuesday (Oct 15), you will come to Rivals.com and be asked to consent to a new Terms of Service (this is part of the Yahoo! transition). This will only happen once per user and take you very little time if you know your login and password. I have a screenshot of what the page will look like at the bottom of this post.

You'll review the information, enter in your nickname, enter in your password and then agree to the new terms.

If you do not know your password, I've included instructions on how to get a new one.

- First make sure you do not know your password by clicking on the User Options tab at the top of message boards.

- This page will ask you for your password. Give it a shot. If you are correct you will go to the user options page and are ready for next week. If you are wrong you will be denied, and need to continue following these steps below. Note: If you are not prompted for your password, that means you've logged in very recently and likely know your password. You may try editing your password now to something new to confirm this.

If you still do not know your password. Here's how to retrieve your password. I recommend doing it while 866-2RIVALS is open (Mon-Fri 9-5 CT) in case things go wrong.

- First, make sure you have access to the email your signed up with on Rivals.com. That's where the password will be emailed to.

- Second, make sure that webmaster@rivals.com is on your safe list for your email, or be ready to check your spam or not receive the emails at all. For basic information on how to do this, click here.

- Warning: Do not proceed unless you're ready. This is when you must take a leap of faith and logout of our network. The only way to get your password it to be logged out and ask for it to be resent. When you're ready, click logout at the top left of this page to the right of your nickname.

- Now go to http://www.rivals.com/resend.asp, type in your email and hit resend.

- The email usually takes less than a minute to get to you, but with a lot of users hitting it I'd give it 10-20 minutes. This email will only go to email addresses that are attached to a login.

- Once you get the email, click on the link inside of it and create a new password.

All right, so what do you do if you have forgotten your password and do not have access to the email address you signed up with. Well, you're going to have to call 866-2RIVALS (from 9-5 CT time Mon-Fri) and talk with our group there. I imagine they will be swamped next week, so calling Friday and Monday before things pick up may be a good idea.

If you get in a super jam, you may try my email noah@rivals.com. I'll try to help with password problems, but do not have the same skills our customer service group does.
